Its a great time of year for enjoying a
cold
beverage on the deck overlooking Jones Creek,
incredibley
fresh seafood, and great company!

The
owners, Chuck and Cris
Llawrence, built a home and
have lived in Isle
of Wight
County in Virginia for 5 years. Cris left her career as a
biology teacher in 2006 to help re-open Chuck-A-Mucks. Chuck gave up
his primary business, Lawrence Boat Works, to put all of his energy
in to the restaurant.
This restaurant was built in 1998 as Captain Chuck-A-Muck's Sandbar
and Grill, Secret Hideout #1 previously known as Rescue Marina. In
October of 2002, a boat fire destroyed the restaurant and the
Lawrences were forced to close. After 4 years of red tape required
to obtain various permits needed to reopen, they're now back, better
than ever.
