Cris recently left her career as a biology teacher to help re-open Chuck-a-Mucks. Chuck owns and runs Lawrence Boat Works in Rescue, Virginia, as he has for 7 years. This restaurant was built in 1998 as Captain Chuck-a-Muck’s Sandbar and Grill, Secret Hideout #1, previously known as Rescue Marina. In October of 2002, a boat fire destroyed the restaurant and the Lawrences were forced to close.
